Set in the rolling hills of a sugar cane estate in the heart of Zululand, Canefields Country House is a converted sugar cane mansion, offering traditional old-fashioned hospitality and personal service. The main building has six double en-suite rooms, and the garden cottages offer homely comforts in a relaxing, private atmosphere. All rooms have air-conditioning and TV. The Cane Cutters à la carte restaurant serves a variety of traditional dishes, while the Mill & Rail Tavern serves light lunches in a relaxing atmosphere. The Bushveld Boma is the setting for traditional bonfires and open fire fare. Conference facilities cater for up to 400 delegates. Wedding ceremonies can be held on the terrace or in the function hall, which can accommodate 400 guests banqueting style, and includes a dance floor.
