Situated 10kms from Hazyview, Chestnut Country Lodge offers, friendly service and superior lodging you can afford. Set on 50-hectares of indigenous bushland, the Lodge has 12 tastefully decorated en-suite rooms or suites, each with their own patio with spectacular views. Breakfast and dinner is available each day with the emphasis on seasonal produce.

The area is famous for the Panorama Route which includes the spectacular Blyde River Canyon, three Rondawels, Bourkes Luck Potholes and God’s Window and the many waterfalls in the Sabie and Graskop area. A visit to one of the two Elephant Sanctuaries is a must.

Activities nearby include the Aerial Cable Trail, a scenic balloon flight or enjoy horse-riding, quad-biking, river rafting, or a safari into the Kruger National Park. The nearby Shangana Cultural Village has an Evening Festival with singing, dancing and story-telling. The area offers a number of first class golf courses.

	Chestnut Country Lodge offers 8 Standard Double (Queen Size bed) or Twin-bedded (2 single beds side by side) rooms each with bathroom ensuite and each with own patio.	Rates on request.
1	The Chestnut Suite
	The Chestnut suite is our newest room and is ideal for Honeymoon couples! The room comprises a King Size bed and separate lounge within the room. The luxury bathroom has a 'bath for 2' as well as a separate shower and his & her hand-basins. In addition, The Chestnut Suite offers a privately enclosed patio with outside shower.	Rates on request.
4	Luxury Suite
	Chestnut Country Lodge has 3 large Luxury Suites - with Queen Size beds and the 4 Luxury Suite comprises 2 x 3/4 extra-length twin-beds, side by side. Each Luxury Suite has a separate lounge area within the room, bathroom ensuite with separate shower & bath as well as a large covered patio.	Rates on request.

Directions

Travelling from Sabie - take the R536 to Hazyview. Travel approx. 35kms and turn right just after the Chestnut Country Lodge brown tourism sign - untarred road marked 'Kiepersol'. Chestnut Country Lodge is 2.7kms up the road on the left hand side.

Travelling from Nelspruit/White River - take the R40 to Hazyview. Travel approx. 30kms and turn left just after the Chestnut Country Lodge brown tourism sign. Travel approx. 8kms until you see the next Chestnut Country Lodge sign. Turn left onto the 'Emmett' Road and travel 1.7kms down this road. The Lodge is on the right hand side.
