While the launch of a new wine bar is on the cards, the renovation and reconceptualisation of Die Ou Pastorie's restaurant has recently been completed. Renamed the 'XO Modern bistro & Wine Bar', the venue has adopted the worldwide Modern Bistro trend. Says Ploum: 'This concept stems from France, where top chefs of owners of Michelin star restaurants decided to go back to the classics and put them in a modern jacket, rather than continuing with the 'fusion-style' foods to which less and less people can relate.' At the new XO Modern Bistro & Wine Bar guests will revel in generous servings of delicious quality fare and highly affordable prices!
Die Ou Pastorie Boutique Country Hotel is elegantly positioned in the Cape's helderberg Valley. Offering 8 Classic and 7 De Luxe rooms, as well as 1 spacious Suite, all in a relaxed garden setting - living is graceful and intimate.
The venue's XO Modern Bistro & Wine Bar has recently been launched and follows the worldwide Modern Bistro trend. Open to hotel guests as well as the public, here diners will enjoy savoring modern classically-inspired cuisine in a relaxed setting.

Directions from Cape Town and its International Airport
•Travel on the N2 (east) Highway to Somerset West.
•Continue until you reach the first set of traffic lights on the N2 (at Somerset West).
•At the traffic lights, turn left into Victoria Road.
•Continue along Victoria Road until you reach the second set of traffic lights.
•At these traffic lights, turn right into Reitz Street.
•Continue along Reitz Street for two blocks or to the Stop sign.
•At the Stop sign turn right into Lourens Street.
