Djuma offers guests the variety of three unique camps. At Vuyatela, meaning 'Come and visit again', guests have their own private 'kaya' (Shangaan for house). Each air-conditioned kaya has a large bedroom, dressing-room, bathroom with an outside shower, private splash pool and lounge with a bar fridge.

All meals are served in the dining-room or outside boma overlooking the water-hole. Bush Lodge, set in riverine bushveld, comprises thatched, air-conditioned en-suite chalets, a swimming-pool, a spacious lounge and dining area and an outside boma.

Game-drives in open 4x4 Land Cruisers are conducted by well-qualified rangers and trackers. Galago Camp is a self-catering camp with five en-suite rooms, and is ideal for small groups. Guests have the use of a Land Cruiser, ranger and tracker.

Directions

Recommended route from Johannesburg:

Take the N12 to Witbank, then to Middleburg. Take the R540 to Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenburg, Origstad and through the Strydom Tunnel.

On approaching Hoedspruit take the R531 to Klaserie, Acornhoek and then follow the signs for Sabi Sands to Gowrie Gate. Entrance is R80 per vehicle. Go directly to the camp you are booked into: Bush Lodge is 12kms from the gate, Vuyatela is 2kms and Galago Camp 2kms.
