Built on the site of the Cape’s first churchyard and established in 1802, d’Ouwe Werf is one of the most central four star hotels in the wine capital of Stellenbosch. Centred on an original Georgian inn-house, it offers 45 luxury en-suite rooms, each with their own unique "modern-meets-vintage" style.

Five modern apartments are situated adjacent to the hotel. Standard facilities in all accommodation includes: en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, CD player, safe, direct dialling, a tea-and coffee-making facility and mineral water, with optional mini-bar provided. Directions

Directions from Cape Town Int Airport: A few hundred meters after exiting airport, follow signs leading to N2 east to Somerset West. After +-13km on N2, turn left at Helderberg/Baden Powell Drive/R310 turn-off (Exit 33) in direction of Stellenbosch. Follow R310 for 15km to T-junction. At T-junction, turn right to Stellenbosch. Continue on this road past first set of traffic lights, until the 2nd set of traffic lights. Turn right here into Dorp Street. Go up Dorp Street for +-1,5km past another set of traffic lights and 2 small traffic roundabouts/circles. Continuing past 2nd mini circle (signposted as Bird Street), turn left at the 3rd street, which is Drostdy Street. Turn left at 1st intersection into Church Street. Our hotel is 30 Church Street, which is on the right-hand side about 100 meters down. There is valet parking available, for which you would first need to announce yourself at the hotel's reception desk. PLEASE NOTE, street signs in town are on the curb at intersections.
