Situated on the banks of the Manyeleti River and offering endless views across the plain, Elephant Plains Game Lodge ensures personal service and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
This family-owned lodge offers a variety of accommodation options. Six glass-fronted, luxury suites comprise a lounge area and fireplace, mini bar, inside/outside shower, air-conditioning and private viewing-deck with spectacular views of the surrounding bush. A further five airconditioned rondavels are set in the beautifully landscaped garden of the original family holiday camp, which still maintains its old bushveld charm. The Manyeleti honeymoon suite provides for romantic elegance and the setting ensures privacy with a stunning view. This glass-fronted suite has all the regular luxuries and also boasts a private splash pool and sala, ideal for a mid-morning nap.
The main lodge houses the reception, dining-room, wine cellar, library, curio shop, and lounge and bar, an ideal place to relax and share experiences. The pool-deck overlooks the watering-hole opposite the camp where the animals come to drink daily. Evening meals are mouth-watering events, served around a fire in the boma and complemented by carefully selected wines from the well stocked cellar.
Experienced gamerangers and local Shangaan trackers share their knowledge and love of the African bush on daily morning and evening game drives. At the African Health Spa, guests will be pampered in a beautiful African setting.
