Intsomi Lodge is situated on 1 000 malaria-free hectares in the Alexandria Forest, which is home to indigenous game and fantastic bird and butterfly populations. The indigenous forest separates the eight luxury double suites from one another.

Each suite opens entirely on three sides to allow the outside and inside worlds to merge, is completely private and has its own wooden deck. Gourmet South African cuisine is accompanied by fine wines from the cellar.

Attractions include nature walks or game-drives through the forests and plains, sun-downers on the deck overlooking the waterhole and cultural evenings in the boma. Horse-trails meander through the valley and over the incredible shifting dunefields, where Khoi-San middens can still be found.
