Situated on 10,000 hectares in the immensity of the Karoo, Inverdoorn was created out of a passion for large spaces and a respect for nature. Game is abundant at Inverdoorn and giraffe, rhino, buffalo, cheetah, kudu, zebra, impalas and many more species wander naturally through this reserve. Guides also take guests close to the Black-Maned Barbary Cape Lion.Accommodation comprises seven individually decorated luxury air-conditioned bungalows, and an eight-bedroomed guesthouse, which provides luxurious comfort for families or groups. Meals combine French cuisine with a South African touch, resulting in a diverse taste experience.Facilities include a swimming pool, gym, golf driving-range, TV lounge and cactus garden. Numerous activites are offered, including quad-bike tours and mountain-biking.
Inverdoorn can be reached from Cape Town very easily. Take the N1 out of Cape Town towards Worcester. Just before Worcester take the R46 to Ceres. When you get to Ceres, go straight and continue approx 43 km. You will reach a gravel road and the R356 will begin. Take the R356 for approx 6 km, the road will break away to the right to Sutherland. Take this R356 for approx 7 km, the road will fork again take the left and continue for 6 km and you will see Inverdoorn to your left. The other route is taking the N1 past Worcester, just 10 km before Touwsriver on the N1. Take the R46 turn-off to Ceres and continue till you get the T-junction. Turn right and you will get to the same gravel road again and use the same direction as above.
