Located in the deep shade of tall riverine trees, Kulefu Camp overlooks one of the permanent channels of the legendary Zambezi River. The tents are raised on teak decks and each has a private bathroom with toilet, basin, bath and shower, solar-heated lights and water and a private verandah. The Lower Zambezi National Park is an extremely remote area with abundant and varied wildlife including large populations of elephant, lion, buffalo, water buck, leopard, hyena, zebra and many bird species. Game-viewing is conducted by boat, canoe and safari vehicle or on foot. Dinner is usually served outside under the trees, accompanied by the nocturnal voices of leopard or a rare fishing owl.
