Accommodation is limited to 48 spacious rooms, including Junior Suites, the Royal Pool Suite with its own private swimming pool, and the sumptuous Presidential Suite. The hotel’s main à la carte restaurant, The Governors Hall, opens onto the sculptured gardens in the Lady Anne Courtyard where breakfast and lunch can be enjoyed near the Mediterranean fountain. The Terrace Restaurant offers guests an alfresco menu which can also be enjoyed in the authentic Cape country bar, The Taphuis. Guests can sit back and relax and enjoy the evening at the luxurious Esquire Bar & Lounge. Guests can unwind and enjoy spa treatments to suit their every need at the Lanzerac Spa & Wellness Centre, which offers a wide variety of specialised services, from the ever-popular manicure to luxurious full-day packages, featuring unique African-based treatments.

Facilities include sauna and steam rooms, outdoor Jacuzzi, heated pool and six treatment rooms. Guests can also enjoy a wine-tasting and cellar tour at Lanzerac’s very own winery.

How to get to the Lanzerac from Cape Town International Airport

From the airport take the Somerset West (N2) on ramp.

Stay on the N2 until you reach the R310 Baden Powell/Stellenbosch off ramp.

Keep left and stay on the R310 to Stellenbosch for approximately 17kms. You will pass landmarks such as Spier Estate and Vlottenburg Winery.

When you reach the T-junction turn right and follow the road passing 'Distel' on your right hand side. Keeping the railway line on your left handside, travel passed the station (keeping in the left hand lane), and enter into Adam Tas Road.

At the second set of traffic lights you will turn right into Merriman Road.

Pass through 2 sets of traffic lights until you reach the traffic circle.

When you reach the traffic circle, enter and take the 2nd exit to the left out of the circle (as if you were to go straight).

Follow the road, you will pass a school on your right hand side.

At the 4th road on your right hand side, you will turn right and then the 1st left will lead you onto the Lanzerac Estate.
