Leopard Mountain Game Lodge

Situated in The Elephant Coast region between the world-famous Big Five game reserves of Hluhluwe and Mkuze and within easy reach of Ndumo, Kosi Bay, Sodwana, Lake Sibaya and the Greater St Lucia Park, Leopard Mountain has breathtaking panoramic views of the meandering Umsunduze River and the Lebombo Mountains.

The luxury stone-and-thatch chalets have en-suite bathrooms and offer spacious comfort and solitude, nestling on the cliff overlooking the valley below. The warm, inviting lounge has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

Activities include guided game-drives and walks, hiking trails through indigenous bushveld and riverine forest, visiting traditional Zulu cultural villages, rhino tracking or relaxing in the sun around the rock swimming-pool.

Your luxurious stone and thatch chalet provides a haven of peace and tranquility where you can watch the sun and moon rise over an African plain that has not changed since before the birth of man. By day, lie in your personal hammock and watch eagles soar at eye level over the plain below and by night, marvel at the magnificence of the African night sky. Each chalet is light and spacious with its own private balcony and hammock, incredible view, en-suite bathroom, mini bar, tea and coffee facilities and mosquito nets over the beds.

When Northbound on the N2 highway, take the D464 District Road / Leopard Mountain Lodge turnoff to your left 32kms after Hluhluwe.

Proceed to the Main Gate of the Zululand Rhino Reserve, where you will be asked to sign in, then continue on for 12kms to the Lodge. We are well sign posted along this road.

When Southbound on the N2 highway, take the D464 District Road / Leopard Mountain turnoff to your right 19kms after Mkuze.

Proceed to the Main Gate of the Zululand Rhino Reserve, where you will be asked to sign in, then continue on for 12kms to the Lodge. We are well sign posted along this road.
