Madikwe Hills is set on a hill among huge boulders and age-old Tamboti trees, overlooking the endless bushveld of the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve. Eleven luxurious glass-fronted suites, each with its own veranda and private plunge pool, are set amongst the boulders.
The unusual yet subtle décor combines natural elements with the colours of Africa. In the main dining area, fine cuisine is accompanied by a well-selected range of South African wines from the cellar, while the boma offers the traditional and elegant atmosphere of dining under African stars.
Black rhino, wild dog, giraffe and zebra roam freely among the Big Five within the reserve. Early morning and late afternoon/evening game-drives are conducted by experienced guides.
