Nestling at the foothills of the Swartkop Mountains, this charming stone-built complex, which was originally a monastery, is set in landscaped gardens and surrounded by natural forest and grassland. The hotel comprises 207 rooms, including four Royal suites and two Presidential suites.

The suites each have their own lounge, garden, plunge pool and outside shower. The en-suite rooms, decorated in ethnic fabrics and handmade furniture, have satellite TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. Misty Hills has 23 conference venues, which can seat up to 800 people.

Facilities include three swimming-pools, a gymnasium, and anti-stress therapy Spa.

Misty Hills has opened a brand new 1000 square metre fully air-conditioned exhibition centre that is fully WiFi enabled. The Carnivore Restaurant, which caters for all types of functions, centres on a huge open fire and offers exotic meats, African vegetarian dishes and a full à la carte menu.
