How to Book
Description
Situated on a 280-ha South African Natural Heritage Site on the spectacular Long Tom Pass, Misty Mountain has majestic views of Mt Anderson and the wooded valleys below. Accommodation comprises 27 fully-serviced, comfortably-furnished chalets, with open fire-places and braai facilities. Breakfast is served on the deck overlooking the swimming-pool. In the evenings, guests can relax in front of the roaring log fire in the natural stone and wood pub, and enjoy a meal in the à la carte restaurant. A comfortable lounge, a reading-room and a recreation area are housed in the main building. Activities include trout-fishing, walking trails, birding and mountain-biking.

Directions to Get There : Take the N4 from Johannesburg, pass Witbank and Shell Ultra City outside Middelburg. Turn off the N4 at Belfast. Take the R540 from Belfast to Dullstroom. Continue on the R540 from Dullstroom to Lydenburg. From Lydenburg take the R37 to Sabie. Travel for 31kms and see Misty Mountain on the right hand side of the road.
