Monwana is 550 km from Johannesburg (half a day by road). N4 to Belfast. R 36 to Lydenburg, Orighstad and through JG Strijdom Tunnel. R 531 / R 527 to and through Hoedspruit to 2nd 4-way stop.
Turn right towards Klaserie.
After 7 km turn left towards Timbavati.
Follow Thornybush signboards to Thornybush Game Reserve.
All guests are met by their ranger at Thornybush Main Lodge.
Scheduled Flights:
There are daily flights to and from Johannesburg and certain days of the week to and from Cape Town from Eastgate International Airport. Eastgate International Airport is only 30 minutes from Thornybush by road.
