Namushasha Country Lodge at Kongola in the East Caprivi. A luxury bush lodge with 22 en-suite bungalows and 1 VIP bungalow and 4 tour guide rooms. All chalets are fitted with mosquito nets the lodge has a small pool, bar, sundowner deck, curio-shop and buffet restaurant. Namushasha is a real un-spoilt African experience with luxury facilities in very scenic surrounds. Situated high on the bank of the Kwando River, overlooking a tranquil hippo pool with over 300 recorded bird species in abundance. Our morning and afternoon boat trip is a popular pastime and guests are also welcome to try their hand at lure fishing while cruising on the river. Our guided game drives are conducted in the Bwabwata National Park, formally known as the Caprivi Game Park. Both Mudumu & Mamili National Parks on the eastern side of the Kwando River are alternative game drive options for guests who want to self-drive (4x4 vehicle is a requirement). A 4km hiking trail promise to surprise with birdlife and interesting flora and magnificent trees. Certain traditional villages offer guests the opportunity to visit and experience the locals at work while they do basket weaving and wood crafting. 16 Camp Sites, all on lawn, under shady trees and overlook the back waters of the Kwando River. Campsites have ablution facilities, braai area, but no electricity points. Guests arriving by charter plane will be collected from the airstrip, but pick-up must be arranged prior to arrival with the Reservations office
