Nedile Lodge is situated just two-and-a-half hours north of Pretoria in the malaria-free, 33 000 hectare Welgevonden Game Reserve, a declared Heritage Site. This true bushveld environment is home to the Big Five, including a large collection of white rhino.

Five exclusive suites are positioned between rocky outcrops and have breath-taking views of the Waterberg mountains. Each suite has its own en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. The main building has a central African theme and leads out onto wooden decks, while the swimming-pool compliments the lodge’s bushveld ambience. Five-star cuisine is served in the elegant dining area or in the outside rock boma under the stars.

	Five exclusive suites, carefully positioned between rocky outcrops on a north facing slope and breath-taking views of the Waterberg mountains, compliment this location. Two of the suites may be used as family units with an inter-leading entrance hall. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers.	Rates on request.

Directions

Take the Polokwane (used to be Pietersburg) N1 Freeway North from Pretoria. After about 130 km you will find the Kranskop Tollgate. Keep left at the tollgate and turn off the freeway towards Nylstroom. After 11 km you continue through Nylstroom towards Vaalwater for 60 km. Continue straight through Vaalwater towards Thabazimbi.

25 km out of Vaalwater you will find the main gate of Welgevonden Game Reserve on your left but continue past the main gate for a further 22 km to the Schoongelegen turnoff. Turn left on the Schoongelegen dirt road. Here is also a green sign indicating the Welgevonden West Gate and Manual Gate. Continue for 17 km on the Schoongelegen dirt road past the Welgevonden Manual gate to the Welgevonden West Gate that will be on your left side.

Please confirm your estimated time of arrival at the West Gate. You will be picked up at the gate with an open gameviewer. Travelling time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to the Welgevonden West Gate. In the park you are on a scenic game drive for anything between 20 minutes to hours depending on the game viewing.

Your vehicle will stay at the West Gate parked behind elephant proof electric fences with 24 hour security. There are only 2 pick-up times at the West Gate 12h00 and 16h30. Alternative pick-ups are aranged at a cost of R150.
