Situated in the heart of the Midlands, the recently renovated Nottingham Road Hotel, or 'Notties' as it is affectionately known to the locals and previous revellers, is a landmark in the area. Established in 1854, the existing building retains the character and charm of a bygone era.
'Notties' is renowned for its festive atmosphere and hospitality. The original wooden pub is reputably the oldest existing country pub in KwaZulu-Natal. The surrounding areas of Nottingham Road offer some of the most beautiful scenery in South Africa.
Activities include game-viewing, trout-fishing on private waters, including dams and rivers, mountain-biking, hiking, walks and trails, horse-riding and bird-watching. Conferences and weddings are specially catered for.
