Opuwo Country Hotel is situated on a hilltop facing northwest over the valleys and mountains with magnificent sunsets and 360° views. With 40 en-suite rooms of which 28 are luxury and 12 are standard rooms, swimming pool with deck chairs. Ideal base from where to explore the culture and tradition rich lifestyle of the Ovahimba and within easy reach of points of interests such as Kaoko Otavi, Epupa falls and Swartboois drift. The impressive thatched main building houses the curio shop, restaurant, bar and well stocked wine cellar with quality wines for the connoisseur. The lodge offers scenic drives, guided cultural tours to Himba villages in the vicinity, 4x4 self-drive excursions to Uukwaluudhi Conservancy and game reserve. All 15 camp sites have lawn and ablution facilities with braai area and electricity points.
