Protea Hotel Outeniqua   

The Protea Hotel Outeniqua is centrally situated near the shops, restaurants and museums of historic George. The façade of the newly built lodge, which dates back to the early 1900s, has been declared a national monument.

Pinewood, from the forest slopes of the surrounding hills, has been used to create the warm, welcoming foyer. The 50 en-suite bed-rooms are all air-conditioned and feature TVs with M-Net and extra sports and movie channels, coffee-making facilities, hair-dryers, modems and a free wireless hotspot.
