Protea Hotel The Park, is situated on the picturesque outskirts of Mokopane (previously Potgietersrus), approximately two hours’ drive north of Gauteng. This modern 125- bedroomed, fully air-conditioned hotel has recently added 25 long stay units to its portfolio. The pool area has also been moved to a private garden area. The Park Hotel combines the professionalism of a city establishment with the friendly service of a country hotel, and appeals to both business travellers and tourists. The conference venues have full audio-visual
support and can accommodate up to 400 delegates. Directly opposite the hotel is a game park and breeding centre, where visitors can view some of the rarer species of African game at close quarters. There is an 18-hole golf-course and historical sites nearby.

Directions to Get There :
Follow N1 North from Gauteng. At the fourth tollgate which is Nyl Plaza, +/- 200 Km north of Pretoria take the exit (extreme left) and follow for Mokopane. At the top of the off ramp turn left onto N11 after 1.5 Kms there is a T-Junction, turn right onto the R101. This road continues through the town, and becomes Thabo Mbeki. PROTEA HOTEL THE PARK is the last building in Mokopane, situated on the left hand side of Thabo Mbeki (just after the black train). Turn left into Beitel street and you will see the Hotel entrance opposite the Caltex Garage.
