Situated on the bird-thronged banks of the tranquil Sabie River, the Sabi River Sun Resort is set in 200 acres of lush bushveld. It is within easy reach of the Kruger National Park and many other well known tourist attractions. Accommodation comprises 60 rooms and 104 time-share chalets.
Dinners are served in the Hippopotamus Restaurant, and lunches are served on the terrace. The wide range of sports facilities includes a challenging 18-hole golf-course, three floodlit tennis-courts, a bowling-green, five swimming-pools, a squash-court, volleyball, river-rafting in the summer months and mountain-biking.
For the less energetic there are nature walks, bird-watching or relaxing while viewing the hippos and crocodiles at the dam. Game-drives and horse-riding can be arranged.
