Description |
Situated alongside the spectacular Sanyati Gorge and sheltered by the Matusadona mountains, Sanyati Lodge offers nine luxurious lodges and two suites, all at a discreet distance from one another.
All the rooms are a combination of stonewalls, rough plaster, indigenous timber and thatch, and have air-conditioning, glass-fronted bathrooms, mini-bar and private timber-decks with magnificent views of Lake Kariba.
The main lodge is elegantly furnished in shades of cream and ebony with carefully picked textiles and artifacts. The chefs are on hand to produce superb meals, complimented by a range of fine wines.
Activities include viewing the Big Five on game walks, 4x4 safaris or by boat, boat cruises down the gorge or fishing for the famous tiger fish. Access is by boat from Kariba or light aircraft from Fothergill airstrip.
