Shishangeni Private Lodge

Situated in a private concession in the south-eastern section of the Kruger National Park, Shishangeni is home to the Big Five and vivid storytelling by the local community, including rituals that are still enacted today. Experienced guides conduct morning and afternoon game drives on open four-wheel-drive vehicles. Walking safaris and bird-watching are also recommended. The 22 individual chalets are luxuriously appointed and include a private viewing deck, mini-bar, fireplace, outdoor shower and sitting area. The main lodge has a spacious lounge, library, intimate bar, swimming-pool, indoor and outdoor dining area, wine cellar and gym. Conference facilities cater for small groups up to 44 delegates. The lodge has direct-dial telephones, internet access and facsimile facilities.
