As you travel north on the R532 from Graskop, you will pass the turnoff to the right, the R534 to Gods Window. Travel further along the R532, and 7km from Graskop you will reach the turnoff to the Lisbon Waterfall. Another 2km on and 9km from Graskop you reach the turnoff to the Berlyn Falls and Thaba Tsweni lodge on the left,turn left here. After a futher 1km you will reach the Lodge on the right hand side.
Thaba Tsweni Lodge, meaning “the mountain of the baboon”, is situated high up on top of the Blyde River Canyon. The family-run lodge is within easy walking distance of the scenic Berlin Falls and a natural river pool ideal for swimming.
God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Pinnacle Rock are all nearby. The lodge is also well positioned for visits to Pilgrim’s Rest and the Kruger National Park. Accommodation comprises one- and two- bedroomed chalets. The lodge is only 45 minutes away from the Phabeni Gate to the Kruger National Park.
Guests can spend the day in the southern section of the park, having lunch either at Lower Sabie or Skukuza Camps, and return in the evening to the lodge. Breakfast and dinner is served on request.
