This thatched country lodge, situated near the New Harbour, offers guests the opportunity to relax in peaceful surroundings. Located in a quiet part of Hermanus, Whale Rock Lodge is close to the village center, the golf-course, an indigenous nature reserve and the beaches.

The Lodge is also only a stone’s throw from the sea and from the scenic cliff path, from where the Southern Right whales can be spotted from July to November. The 11 en-suite double rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. Guests can enjoy a relaxing massage in the cosy poolside therapy room.

Full buffet breakfasts are served in the breakfast room, which overlooks a large, sparkling salt-water swimming pool, a soothing water feature and lush, landscaped gardens.

Directions

Make your way down to the entrance to the New Harbour which is at the Westcliff end of town. At the entrance, turn right on Stil Street and we are 100m down on the right hand side. There are two large palm trees outside the gates.
